 Illuminated Litter

How we see depends on our past and present. What we see is recast by the environment it is seen in. Litter, once wanted useful desired often pristine stuff which is discarded. Litter peppering our highway and neighborhoods is ignored or invisible to the looker. Litter today is particularly distasteful in that it reflects our disregard for the environment and our overindulgence of material. I am not removing the “litter” but making it seen, switching the context by altering it. Illuminating what we try not to see.
